From September 18-21, under the presidency of Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, the 5th Armenian Church Representative Assembly was held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, attended by representatives of the Armenian Patriarchates of Jerusalem and Constantinople, Pontifical delegations, Primates and lay delegates of the Dioceses of Armenia and the Diaspora, Bishops serving in various structures of the Armenian Church, and Supreme Spiritual Council members.
Church Representative Assembly is the authorized body of the National Ecclesiastical Assembly, which is the higher body of the Armenian Church. The Church Representative Assembly is held to discuss urgent issues in our Church life, make respective decisions and apple them.
